The Teatrofonia/Hearing Points Workshop proposes to investigate a problem as old in the theatrical scene as the theatrical scene itself: on how the use, non-use and abuse of the sound influence the dramatic action, the performance, the speech and the scenic space.
What is the sound? for many, it's music.
For "Hearing Points" is all that sounds: voices, music, sounds, noises and pauses.
Who uses the sound on stage? Everybody.
Who thinks about the criteria of musical and sound selection? Not all.
Aimed at musicians, actors, puppeteers, clowns, storytellers, narrators, directors, playwrights, teachers, researchers, dancers and any professional linked to the performing arts.
